Here at last!!

The flight from Cinci to Atlanta was non eventful, and we sat together on the plane for the fist and only flight.  In Atlanta, we grabbed a bite to eat at a cafe called the Sojouners Cafe.  Food was great and reasonably priced. No one seemed to be watching their babies run around while we were waiting our 4hr layover.  For a airport as crowded as Atlanta, we were surprised.  They even let these kids run behind the ticket counters at the gate

The flight overnight was the long flight and as I mentioned we did not sit together.  Audrey was 2nd to last boarded on the plane, due to no seat assignment.  It was definitely an interesting flight.  About a dozen babies were flying (and crying)  on this flight.  As well as an old babushka lady who took another man's seat because she didn't want to walk any further.  Later to be physically removed by attendants to her rightful seat.  Another woman cried for 30 min. because she didn't have a seat by her husband.  The french stewarts were all men, and  they were getting more than a little frustrated.  Finally everyone was happy and the flight left.  We were served dinner around 11:30pm and then breakfast 1 hr before we arrived in Paris.

After we landed, we walked off the plane and were herded onto buses to go to the terminal.  The french are FAST drivers!!  We then had under an hour before our connection was to leave.  Had to find our new terminal, go through customs and the stand in line to go thru security again.  We were sitting on the plane for only 10 mins. before it took off.

Could see the Eiffel tower when in the air.  Paris looks big and very crowded (as the crow flys)

The flight was only 1hr and coming over the mountains into Geneva was an amazing sight.  The Swiss Alps were breath taking.

Landed safely from our 3rd flight to reach here.  All our luggage arrived and Ann was there to pick us up.

The Workmans only live 15mins. from the airport, in a village called Satigny.  Dropped our luggage and took Tilly  (Buddy's half sister) for a walk thru what will be sunflower fields and vineyards.  Saw mistletoe growing in the trees.  Didn't know thats were you find it.  Passed some work horses in the pasture area that know Ann and were quite annoyed that she didn't bring them her usual carrot treat.

Dinner was a traditional Swiss dish called  Raclette.  This consisted of melted Raclette cheese (kind of like a fondue melt) mixed with pickle juice and Paprika. This was then poured over potatoes and pickles.  Served with red wine and side salad.  Awesome dinner!!

Chris, their eldest son (Ben's age) was home sick with a fever..  He was asking about all his friends back in Cinci.  (I think Chris wasn't really sick, just wanted to hang out with us girls

not really)

Our next blog won't be so long, now that you are all caught up.

Going to Geneva downtown today by train.
