Modiin. The City of the Future

The wife and I as of last week are now officially residents of Modiin (Isreal). The City of the Future as the Mayor and town planners like to call it. Its new, big (and growing), very quiet and peaceful (ignoring the cranes and heavy machinary still constructing the town). Its what we now call home.
Our appartment is on the 2nd floor of a 12 story building, our building is the 3rd of nine (2 were occuppied last year, 3 are being occuppied now and the remaing 4 are under construction.
We have a great view over the town center (or what will be town centre when its built)... I can sit on the balcony and imagine (what will be) the City theatre, museum, library, community centre and synagogue. If I look to my right I can see workers putting the (almost) final touches to the city train station and just to the left is they are already starting to build the 2nd floor of the city mall. In the evening as the light dims and the streetlights twinkle we can see Jerusalem over the mountain... what more could we want?
Oh yes, when its finished it will be great. When the train arrives our journey into work should be cut in half, and when our appartment is unpacked, organised and clean we'll be having a party...
