Santiago for a wedding

Arrived to Santiago after joining all my friends in a connection at Lima airport, and flew together from there.

Santiago is a great city - developed, clean and with a good sense of order.

My friends and I went to the hotel, rested and then straight to the night life... there are some good places in the Vitacura neighborhood, for both local and tourists... also at the "zona rosa" you can find more action for singles... if you know what I mean... we also saw there tennis player Marcelo Rios!

The wedding was next day and during the day there are many places to go visit in the center, and you can see Pinochet's former HQ, and some historical places before the militars took the power of the country.

Food: There is great sea food, but if you are looking for typical plates... nothing to say... you can eat hotdog with avocado sauce.

The beach is not close to Santiago, but an hour far from there is Vina del Mar and Valparaiso, very nice places to stay... pretty sea shores but water is a bit cold most of the year.
