Heineken Experience

Posted on Nov. 4, 2006 at 11:27 (Subscribe)

Heineken is part of Holland and besides drinking a fair amount of alcohol inside their pretty building, Heineken's history is very intersting from a business & marketing point of view as you can learn about all the phases that the company passed through to get to be what it is now... a world leader.

You can learn that the star represents the 5 points of quality in a beer, and that they changed "HEINEKEN" to "Heineken" as part of their marketing strategy to reach younger audiences.

The museum is full of interactive activities and shows, where you can "feel like a heineken bottle" or virtually dance on a wheat field and email your video immediatelly after.

If you go, calculate to spend around 2 hours in there and maybe more if you go with a bunch of friends... and to bring some extra moeny for gadgets... i bought a pretty book of Heineken hisrtoy (~450 pages) for 5 euros... ah, Mondays is closed!!!

Entrance cost 10 euros, including 3 beers and a surprise gift! hip!!!
