Australia

I got to Sydney this morning, spent a day in Singapore which I liked, its very familiar looking and there are double decker buses!  And soo many shops, I think people there must spend all their time shopping..  Its a cool mix of huge skyscrapers and Victorian style buildings and stuff.   We went for a Singapore Sling at Raffles hotel.. had to be done.

 

Haven't done much so far, had food, washed all my clothes (they're all a dirty brown colour.. and mostly still are...)

 

Enough for now, I'm sad to have left Asia, wish I had more time there.  Its wierd to be somewhere where my pale skin blends in.

I can't believe you're in Australia!! You lucky thing. It's got really cold here - which is quite nice and finally feels Christmassy. Hope you're having a fab time and have a lovely Christmas. And an amazing New Year if I don't speak to you before then!

I wish I was in Oz

I left Elly in Singapore airport, it was very warm, I landed in Heathrow 14 hours later, it was 2 degrees below freezing and foggy. My tropical clothes failed to keep me warm. Safe journey in Oz Elly, I\'ll pretend I\'m still with you by reading your tripslog : ) S xx

it should be a great evperience to be in Sydney.198 days later, i will be there :)
