Two months out...

It's two months before I depart on my five week adventure to Europe and the anticipation is starting to build.  It feels like I have a lot of time to get everything ready but I know it's going to sneak up on me super-quick.  My biggest concern is what to pack.  I want to make sure that I am prepared for anything but I also want to leave room in my luggage for items I may pick up along the way.  I received some invaluable advice on what to pack from my good friend Caro and I am incredibly grateful for it!  I used to travel a lot with her and we are very similar in the items that we like to have with us when we're traveling and how they "wear" (aka: not wrinkled!)    Caro says to leave the clothes iron at home as it's not worth packing.  The people that don't know me won't understand...but for those who do, you will know that I am freaking out a wee bit over the thought of not ironing my clothes before wearing.

Speaking of clothes...I have to go put on my grubbies as it's time to give Sir Magnum von Slobberhousen a bath.  It's always a great experience to wrestle and heave a 95lb lab into the tub and then pin him there while scrubbing him down.  For a dog that loves to swim so much, I will never understand why he detests getting a bath.
