Hello from the North Island!!!

Alright... sooo first of all Tony is upset that I haven't been mentioning him in these blogs soooooo HEY TONY I MISS YOUUUUUUU!!! Second of all people are starting to get worried because I haven't posted in a while haha.. I'm fine, I still have all my limbs and most of my brain cells...  Soo I started off my adventure alone by renting a car and driving up the west coast of the south island.  GORGEOUS! Half the time you're driving up mountains and switchbacks, hairpin corners and over cliffs.  I will say this about New Zealand:  They don't believe in gaurdrails, cleaning up roadkill, or roads that are straight and flat.. Also for those people who know my only true loves are Hot Dogs and Root Beer... NZ does not serve root beer anywhere, infact they look at you as if you're retarded if you order it, and a hot dog is, in fact, a corn dog.. I was not impressed haha.... soo i will be feasting on hot dogs and root beer when I get home in about a week.  Ohhhh boy i have to make this quick.  So I met up with a guy I met in Calgary, Nigel, he stayed with Matt and Stef for a few nights.  Met up with Nigel in Wellington and we've slowly been making our way further north.  Lastnight we stayed at a gorgeous beach house on the sea and tonight we're at his parents house in Palmerston North... you can find it on a map... Tomorrow I'm heading up to Taupo and I'll be on my own. I must go I'm getting fed a roast dinner tonight....... excited..

Yo champ! Glad to hear you finally got on the Nevis! And you're still alive and well! Donna and I also drove up the west coast (south island) maybe a day or two before you and it was awesome. Too bad I didn't check your blog earlier, I would have suggested some fun stops for you (or maybe we could have met up)! Oh well, hopefully the north island is fun! If you get a chance to go to the east side of the island check out Hawkes Bay... big wine area (the wineries let you taste their wine for free... Donna and I went to TEN in Blenheim... we got wrecked for FREE. :-)

Oh, and you're totally busted for telling the world that Donna and I are engaged!
