Still in Calgary
Here I am in Calgary still! My countdown has quickly come to an end and tomorrow I'm hittin' the ol' dusty trail finally! For those of you who don't know here are some quick trip details: I arrive in Invercargill, NZ on November 6 (I'm still confused about the time difference, so most of you will be getting calls in the middle of the night!). That day I meet my Habitat team. We're building a house for almost two weeks (the foundation's done so we'll be doing the fun framing part!) Invercargill is at the bottom of the south island so there's no need to be jealous of the weather because it's similar to Vancouver! Yuk! At the end of 2 weeks we're going to Queenstown. I'm pretty stoked about this, home of the world's first bungee jump, and many other adrenaline hungry activities... If I survive this crazy town I'll be impressed. The next two weeks I have absolutly no plans. I know I need to make it to Auckland (at the top of the north island) by December 1 to catch my plane home. No idea how I will go about doing that! I guess we'll find out soon. I just want to say thank you to everyone who's helped me be able to go on this trip. You all know that it's been my dream to travel for a long time now and your encouragment and support has been extraordinary! Thank you so much! Now it's time to start thinking about packing!!! Cheers Everyone!
