Shore Excursion to Rome from Civitavecchia port.

My Shore Excursion Rome experience.

The driver  pick me up at my cruise ship at 8.00 am to drive me to Rome, (approx, 1:30 hours). We meet directly by the ship, and then my private driver lead me to the centre of the city where start my private tour. Our first stop is the famous Circus Maximus . We continue on to come upon one of the most famous monuments,The Coliseum.
 
Obviously we can go directly through the entrance gates without waiting in any lines.
 Once we have dicovered the Coloseum, we will head towards Venezia Square, " Altar of the Nation" also known as "The Wedding Cake.  We visit The Forum of Caesar, The Forum of Trajan and ascending up Capitoline Hill, we can admire the splendid panorama of the Roman Forum.We then continue on to The Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain, where there is an age old tradition of throwing a coin into the fountain, guaranteeing your return to Rome.  After visiting the Trevi fountain we have a lunch in Navona Square, where the famous "Fountain of Four Rivers", by Bernini, stands in the centre of the square. After your lunch we visit,The Pantheon, Saint Peter’s Basilica and then make our way back to the boat.

During the tour I had have a car at my disposal with my own personal driver-guide, fluent in English.GREAT!!!
