The LONG journy to Krabi

Posted on Sep. 16, 2004 at 17h18 in Thailand - September 2004 (Subscribe)

Since we wanted to leave right after maya's cousin, and right before the holiday - on September 15th - we had to take this very crazy flight to Thailand. Watch:

Tel Aviv - Zurich (app. 4 hours) > 5 Hours Waiting > Zurich - Bangkok (app. 11 hours) > 2 Hours Waiting > Bangkok - Krabi (app. 3 hours). Add the waiting, driving to and from the airports, the time zone differences and you're somewhere between 25 to 30 hours. Add the fact that the Zurich Airport failed to send our bags to Bangkok (even though I asked and veified! Twice!) and it's a definite "good" start.

Amazingly though, this trip turned to be THE BEST trip ever (of course the fact that this was Maya and I celebrating our honeymoon didn't hurt...).

Was sure worth the long wait - when we arrived in krabi - Paka Sai Hotel Resort and the pretty and smiling hostes greeted us shouting "Welcome mr. and Mrs. Cohen!!!..."

She escorted us to a well designed room, made with wooden floor, spacious and luxurious. Later that day, we decided to test the well known Thai-Massage. I'll post on this in a bit.
