Armed robbers hold up jewelry store

Two robbers, one of
them brandishing a handgun, robbed a Sonoma jewelry store Friday
morning and escaped on foot with an undisclosed number of jewelry items.The robbery took place at approximately 10:30 a.m. when a female clerk was alone in the Castellanos Jewelry and travel store at 18901 Sonoma Highway. The clerk told police that a Hispanic male entered the store and asked to look at some jewelry. As she assisted him, the suspect received a phone call, told the caller, "It's ready," and hung up.
