hello fom dubai!!

well we got here ok!! very tiring journey tho as we missed a whole nights sleep!! got to hotel (1st picture) at 8.30am but couldnt have our room for a while so had to walk around outside checking out the area! unfortunately we were still in jeans and big trainers and it was so hot!! even that early in the morning! i also made the mistake of wearing a semi see through white t shirt, i have never been stared at so much!! felt really intimidating! these men dont usually see flesh tho!!

We then went for a very typical arabic meal - in an english pub called the fox and hound where my dad ate fish and chips, i had tomato soup and my mum had a toastie! we are so adventurous! then we had a lazy afternoon by the pool coz we were too knackered to go anywhere!

in the evening we went for another arabic meal - a mexican! is my favourite food tho! then............................. we went for a drink in the engish pub and watched some strange Eastern European eurovision/talent contest thing! was very strange, however, my dad really enjoyed the big breasted belly dancer!!

and on to today!..........we went into the city and took lots of nice pics and then to the beach!! which was gorgeous! i went for a paddle and really wanted to swim but then my mum wrecked it for me by pointing out the millions of jellyfish!! found a spot where there wasnt too many tho and went for a nice relaxing dip!! anyway, how is work??!! ha! 

so thats it at the moment, we have to get up at about 4 in the morning tomoro for our 14 hour flight to brisbane which will be lovely!! hopefully post again soon!
