busy busy! (caramel please!!)

well we have been very busy since i last wrote! We headed south down the coast and saw some more amazing beaches! everyone we see is as good as the last! i cant pick a favourite!

on wednesday we went to australia zoo (steve Irwins zoo, RIP) and got to stroke koalas, kangaroos and wombats! also saw some tazmanian devils and dingoes and watched a crocodile show! very brave man was feeding him! it was also quite sad coz there were lots of tributes to steve irwin, strange thinking hes not around anymore, there are loads of pictures of him all around and his videos playing.

the next day we went up the mountains again and went for a lovely walk in the bush until mum walked through a spiders web! and then saw the spider that had made it!! they arent small!! so she freaked out and unfortunately ran back through it! she refused to carry on walking! the picture is another one we found, his body was the size of a golf ball!! yuk! then we went to a place called O'Rileys and did a tree top walk (like on Im a Celebrity!!).  was pretty high up, surprised mum did it!! and me and dad climbed up a ladder to the top of a tree! amazing view, very high up! surprised i did that!!

then yesterday we went into Brisbane. I absolutely loved it! doesnt feel like a big nasty dirty city, it was lovely! and also very quiet! they make a big deal out of good friday here so all the shops were closed! we did a city walk which showed you the main attractions.  Hayley, dont know if your coming to brisbane or not but if you are, there is a backpackers hostel called the peoples palace, which is a lovely building and apparently has a good nightclub in it! you should go there!!

now we are going to check out Byron Bay which is south into New south wales! 

PS i dont like mars bars................... did he really buy us eggs?? thats nice!! i will bring him back a boomerang!
